Might sound like a stupid question but I have ordered a set of front and back Eibach Sway Bars and wanted to know from those who have them what type of grease gun would be best suited, size and type of nozzle, (fixed or flexible, length etc). Thanks
My experience is youll want one with a flexible nozzle, I got a fixed length and it makes it harder to work with because I have to jack up the car or drive on ramps to be able to get the clearance to use it.
Silicone. I personally hate (and hate with a passion) lithium lubricants. Never use them unless specifically have to. Lithium dries out, and the remaining paste end up being sticky and powdery - not slippery like a spray silicone coat or a layer of graphite.
Lithium is just one of the very early dry lubricants that were discovered, so it's still a traditional product.
Oh, are we talking about the back?
Those are exposed to far less heat, water and road muck, so will rarely need greasing. Like years. I'm not paying attention to those at all.
