Been called out by an M340i xdrive

He's not a pleasant individual, I think we can all agree on that. What I find annoying of him is that he's wearing the professional suit, all classy and stuff, but act like a god damn frat boy. You onow, the wall street trader type we're all accustomed to from movies?
I remember when I started disliked him. I was talking to him earlier this year about his car and how I used to want one of those but chose to get the Stinger instead due to it be 90% of the car for 16k less and he looked at me and said "that last 10% is is why your is a KIA and mine a BM". I said "Well ok. Yeah the M340i is a great car for sure! Maybe you'll see me arriving with one soon and park right alongside your" and he then said "Sorry buddy, there's only enough space for one M340i".

Sounds like a real rounder, that’s what we call them on Howe St. anyway. I know you have to see him at work and all but you were far to kind to the drip. When he asked about your times you should have told him he’d have climb out of his chicken suit and come to the track if he wants to know. Personally I hate rounders and would have been relentless with degrading missiles.

Yeah I know he doesn't deserve my kindness....but there is a possibility I see him every day abd I don't want to potentially make my dailies worse in case it turns sour.

Yes the guy who plugged me with the source said that he's running map 3 without any issue with this 96 octane gaz.
I saw him running high 11s last weekend on his Stinger (a bad ass modded one at that). He told me I'd probably run into the 11s even with map 2 only if I run on both the 96 and with the brake snip mod.

The sad part is that there are some nice BMWs and there are some valid reasons to buy one. This guy just bought one for the perceived status-symbol and knows nothing about other cars. He's got something that's a little fast and he thinks he's driving a Bugatti.

It's your world and you have to live in it so do what you gotta do.
Just know that people like him are arrogant, self righteous knobs and any effort on your behalf will likely just bring you more frustration so ( IMO ) offer him NOTHING more than a fake smile.
Maybe frame a couple of time slips and leave em on your desk to indirectly rub it in.....

Some things you just can't buy... like class, good taste, and brains, it may help you fake it, like driving a rental car... (always refer to his car as a rental)

Your co-worker does sound like the typical BMW owner that just buys the car for the brand name. I have a friend that always brags about his X3 M series and says how fast his car is and how his exhaust cracks and pops. Told him I bought a Stinger and only thing he said is, oh that's a fast car but my car is faster cause BMW underclock their cars for HP. For months I mentioned to go do a friendly race and he always said yes but never did anything but still says his BMW is faster. One day I met him up in the mall cause he was shopping and told him to get in my car. Took a quick run in a empty parking lot and he said, wow but I bet you don't feel the boost cause I'm driving. Told him trust me I feel it all the same as you. After that he never mentioned his BMW again.
Here's his car. Can't say I dislike the color. Kinda wish I had a Phantom Grey Stinger 
Saw him today. We briefly exchanged. He asked me if I was still planning to go this Sunday. He had a different attitude. Literally congratulated me on the time and admitted he was quite surprised by my times. He still believes he has me though, but this time he said it would be close.

Just dangle around the time slips till Sunday and his nervousness will kick in and make him phuck up the launch on green.
The person who plugged me with the Sunoco 96 is going to perform the brake snip mod on my car tonight. That, plus the Sunoco fuel, I'm expecting 12.0X or even 11.9X. Even if he launches perfectly, at that point, I think he doesn't stand that much of a chance since it appears he ran about the same as I did, 12.2X, perhaps 12.1X. I had some real bad ign timing logs all day too so hopefully, with Sunoco, I'm looking for a smooth Map 2 at the very least.

Oh I believe the Stinger is a better looking car. But I do prefer his Grey "washed-out" color compared to my red though.
