• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

<AUS> What's the best mod you've done to your Stinger?

I didn't count that as a mod as it was already fitted when I first saw the car on display.
Yeh I had it fitted when I bought it too but it's my only mod so far. :( Plus its a substantial one too.

Well as the only thing I’ve done is the badges then I’ll say that. I don’t think they’re anything earth shattering, but it’s technically the only mod I’ve done. Maybe if I had the $ I’d look at the sway bars

Window tinting obviously, followed by mudflaps, self designed decal down the sides, a rebadge on front, rear and steering wheel , GT wheel cap overlays in red script which look great and trying to decide on which rear spoiler.

What about the Blackvue Dash cam that would be a significant mod?

I take delivery of my new MY20 GT on the 17th Jan, car will come with the Bi-Modul exhaust and window tinting, and I have ordered the following upgrades: UNICHIP Q4, K&N Typhoon CAI system, Wagner Competition Intercooler & "E" Re-badge kit including wheel caps

Eibach sways by a long shot!

Eibach swaybars with Whiteline endlinks.

For me it would be the JB4 or my Cold Air Intakes. The JB4 makes the car feel much more quicker and the Cold Air Intake sounds amazing!
Does the JB4 make it feel quicker, or is it quicker. The BMS pedal tuner makes it FEEL quicker lol. What intake do you have?

Haha, it's quicker. I have the K&N Intakes. I bought them during black Friday sale for like $400. 20191206_100334.webp

Not sure if the dealer fit Bi Modal actually counts as a mod, but if it does, It's my fave.
Got some new wheels on order that should arrive early next week, so looking forward to see how they look. The rear Stinger badge is worthy too.

I had the bimodal exhaust and window tint done at dealers when I bought it. I have since fitted air intakes and had a unchip fitted and dyno tuned by Dynomotive at Bayswater in Victoria.
Unchip totally transformed the car. It has 5 different tunes selectable by an app on my phone via Bluetooth.
on the top tune it now has 305 kilowatts at the rear wheels.
just got back from a trip to Sydney and average fuel come in 7.8 per hundred kilometres.

Welcome to our stingerforum @grova66 , which exterior colour Stinger did you choose ?

Bimodal already fitted when purchased. Small things like rebadging front, rear and wheel caps, aesthetically changes the look of the car and has an entertaining value as people look perplexed when checking the car out.
Small changes inside like the metal Stinger emblems to go on the door scuffs and the door striker covers just gives it a more personal look.
I have Black Vue Dash Cams but view them more as an accessory than a mod.

Eibach sways. I'm 50/50 about getting a Unichip.
Any closer to pulling the trigger on the Unichip, I’m hearing good things about it.

Still on the fence. What do I do with all this extra power on Sydney streets/traffic.

Just do it, it will give you an excuse to go up the mountains or the coast more often or even track days at SMP or Luddenham...

Although I do really like the Eibach sway bars, I've noticed these transfer more flex into the car's body ( where before it would be taken up by the stock sway bars ). This will in time promote more squeaks and groans. With that said, I'll keep them on the car for now.

My best "peace of mind" mod was the Mishimoto Catch Can. Every time I unscrew the bowl and see that oil that's NOT going onto the back of the inlet valves and piston tops, I smile ! Money well spent.

Really enjoying the Velossa ducts at the moment. Noticeable difference to the responsiveness of the power delivery ( especially when cruising and accelerating from cruising speeds ).

Also finding the paddle shifter extensions make it just that bit easier to use.

Knee pad is a simple comfort mod I'm happy with also.

My cosmetic mods just make me smile every time I look at the car.

Did the tune help with fuel efficiency? Or was that driving in eco mode? 7.8 L/100km is insane.
