Ascot Green as a colour choice

Colors are a personal preference. I really loved the blue, so that's what I got. Some people really love the grey, but it's not for me. I like the red as well. The dealership tried to push the panthera metal on me but I refused to settle on color for a car AGAIN.

Also, some people don't particularly like the ascot green / red brembo brakes combo. Kind of....Christmas like

The Ascot Green is hardly a "Christmas like" green. Lol. I think the color is incredible, very subtle. I wouldn't think twice about it, if the car I wanted in all other respects happened to be Ascot Green.

Welcome to the forum, by the way. :D

Great thanks. Just looking for validation.

Well, I never said *I* thought the ascot green / red brembo's were Christmas like. Just said "some people". But I do agree it's not exactly a Christmas green. Would need to be a lighter shade. First dealership I went to had an ascot green inside on the floor. I do like the shade of green they use but it wasn't for me with the body style. Not saying it's a bad color at all...just not the color I wanted.

And yes, regardless it would make a great Christmas present!

Basically...go with what you want to look at for however long you intend to own the car. The only person who should care about what color your car is, is you. If you have the time, and existing wheels, and aren't in a rush to get what you want then wait to get exactly what you want.

I like ascot green as it shifts in color based on the amount of light outside. In direct sunlight it looks dark green with a slight blueish hue and as the light gets darker it turns more dark grey/black. It's a great choice in color for sure.

Traded my 2018 Hi Chroma red in for the '22 Ascot green. Great color in my eyes!

Your first picture is a great example of ascot green shifting from green in the rear to dark grey/black on the front bumper based on lighting.

The promo pictures that Kia put out for Ascot green before it was available made it look like it was going to be a British racing green or forest green. Then I saw it it in person and it left a lot to be desired. My wife's favorite color is green, and she even said it was "gross".

But it's all subjective. If you like it, go for it.

Hell, I don't like red cars, but I have a HiChroma red stinger. The way the color flops in different lights did it for me.

If I didn't have the Aurora Black, or something along those lines, the Ascot Green would be my second choice. It's a unique, yet subtle, color choice.

How easy is this color to keep clean?

My favorite is a charcoal gray, gun metal like color. Car can be filthy but still looks good from a distance.

Ceramic silver tends to show the dirt more easily as its a lighter color.

Ascot green i like it, it would be my second choice behind deep choma blue which i have. Ascot green not available in Australia though.
