I installed the new carbon fiber legato hood on my car, but i did no think through the whole issue with the wind resistance. Anybody have any issues driving at high speeds and no hood pins?

I have the SB Motorsports hood and it bounces a bit at 80mph but I was assured it would be fine....with that being said, I had a Seibon cf hood on my R33 skyline that the hood latch ripped out of it on the highway which crushed my windshield and roof. Caused about 9k in damage

love to see some pics, I asked about the hood pins but they said that was just for insurance reasons, should latch and hold like stock. Is it lifting up for you? Hows fitment on the sides?

Yeah thy told me the same, tbh it does bounce a little at anything above 70mph. The one i got was one of theire first mold designs so fit is def not perfect, but i like very much, and was worth it imo. Ill try to upload some pics later on it wont ket me on my phone for some reason.

As you can see there is a gap but it doesnt bother me one bit, and the new molds probably helped that, love the hood design

Ya that fitment on the ark hood is rough. I wonder why they keep selling them while the issues still persist.

In their defense I did mention this was one of their first molsings, from what I saw the new ones look better, and its just not that bad to me

That gap won't cause an issue if it pours with rain and water gets into the engine bay ?

There is a "gutter" under there. The stock hood has a gap as well, just not quite that wide.

Its not that big of a gap thhst it would concern me, especially here it doesnt rain enough, let alone hard
