Anyone running the tork oval midpipe ?

Curious as to how the tork midpipe sounds with different exhaust setups. Any sound clips are very much appreciated.

Apparently it reduces all drone. Can’t confirm but wanted to see if anyone had installed it on their exhaust setup.

It deletes a resonator so it should also flow better.

I have Tork Catless resonated secondaries, Oval Mids, and had stock muffler and swapped it out for a custom axelback (straightpipe), oval makes it sound different in a good way, had no drone at all before i did the muffler delete, drones like a 3/10 in terms of annoyance, but im gonna get my hangers welded to the body as the drone only happened after the SP install. Sounds almost like a gtr

@decknasty How did you like the Tork Secondaries + Oval Mids + Stock Mufflers versus full stock exhaust? Was it much louder than stock? Was there much drone?

This midpipe is much more open than the OEM. Frankly, seemed to be thee biggest restriction in the system. Created a lot of drone. Insulated the crap out of the hatch. Still noticeably louder inside. I've not yet installed exhaust tips.

Good to know. Not interested in creating drone in the cabin. Got rid of my MBRP for that reason - and was disappointed in the quality of the exhaust in general (significantly heavier than OEM!). Think I'll just stick with my ark catless secondaries and otherwise stock exhaust.
