Anybody ever find an Aftermarket Tow Hook?

It still amazes me that the USA does not provide these as dealer fitted genuine options.
The same occured with the GM G8 (Commodore). I bought a genuine towbar and wiring kit from Holden and fitted it myself with complete and detailed instructions but those in the USA used to bleat that they could not do the same.
Kia offers a dealer kit here but I have not sussed out it so I can't confirm if it has detailed instructions. I loath to alter the looks of the Stinger.
Don't all USA Stingers come with a tow hook in the trunk, as part of the spare tire kit?

Just spitballing here, but I don't think that many people in the US would use a Stinger to tow a trailer. It might not sell well.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
That's very much, NOT a USA site.
Not North American.
The world does not revolve around North America and especially Canada. You can fit the whole of the USA and Canada inside Australia.

Of the 7.9 billion people in the world 7.6 billion live outside North America.

The post was an example. If you cannot buy a genuine Kia towbar in Canada that's YOUR fault.

Tell us what Canada ever invented.

Australia
The black box flight recorder
Aircraft escape slides
The electric drill
Hills Hoist
Post it notes
Plastic bank notes
WiFi
The Utility Truck
The Heart Pacemaker
Google Maps, yeah Australia did that with an American company
The medial application of penicillin
The bionic ear
Ultrasound scanner
Plastic spectacle lenses
Permanent crease clothing
Racecam

So before you bag me out that I haven't found a solution for you buying your wittle tow hook in Canada let us know what Canadians have done beside butcher the English language.

I was merely commenting on @LordKOTL post, which mentions the US.

Also, I HAVE a trailer hitch, I am one of the.
very few I would have bought OEM if it was available here.

Also, for fun, some inventions from Canada.

I don't actually care, and I only did one single Google search, but it seems it's possible your size estimates are off?

Australia is approximately 7,741,220 sq km, while Canada is approximately 9,984,670 sq km. Meanwhile, the population of Australia is 23 million people (12 million more people live in Canada).

Believe me, I get that the world does not revolve around the US. However, parts or things available in one country aren't available in others. Hell, dinner of my Canadian friend at the time were pissed that the newer Pontiac GTO (Monaro Import I Believe) wasn't available in Canada because of some really stupid reason.

I think for the US most people would not see a stinger as a vehicle to tow things, while in other countries they would. Here, people would just buy a cheap pickup truck (ute?) Instead. So why would Kia spend money to ship a bunch of tow harnesses to the US if they would never sell? Andy if it was shipped on demand it might take to long for our American collective 2-day delivery mindset to fathom.

I meant nothing negative; was just giving what I thought was the reason as to why I think they weren't available.

It doesn't stop Kia in the US from getting a third party supplier to make them like they do here. Of course it would be too expensive to ship them from here. But they make the effort to make them as you don't know what you are getting from after market. GM did the same with the Pontiac G8. Dealer towbar kits available here for the Australian made Commodore/G8. Nothing available in the USA. Also when you get a genuine towbar fitted to a new car it gets the full 7 year unlimited km warranty. If you go back to get it you get the warranty as a spare part which is maybe 12 months. If you get it aftermarket you risk those idiots stuffing up your car and getting only the aftermarket warranty.
As for the previous model to the Australian VE series (G8 in America), the 1998 VT- to 2005 VZ series Australian made Commodores and particularly the 2 door Monaro were rebadged Pontiac GTO for the North American market. The Canadians didn't miss anything. They were a pile of SH*t.. I agree pointless putting a towbar on a Stinger but not everyone buys a Ute as a second car just to tow a trailer and some want to carry bikes though you would have to extend the bar as the auto hatch is likely to rip itself apart hence not recommended by Kia in the ad above.....
