I have a 2020 GT1, not even a thousand miles on her yet. I was just reaching out for advice for any mods out there that would help for hp gains and performance without voiding my warranty? I live in California, so it’s strict out here....please advise, Thank you. And please don’t tell me to use the old stickers on it joke.

thanks, but again horsepower and performance mods...

None that I can think of. Anything you do to your engine will potientally void your warranty. Some people might suggest a plug in ecu like the jb4 which you can remove before taking your car to the dealer, however there are pros and cons with doing this.

Being in CA, you really can't do anything. None of the CAI's are approved for use there.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
One of the best performance mods you can do that won't void the warranty, and is easily transferable to another car is the driver... take a HPD course, as for parts... probably a brake upgrade would be safe but check with your servicing dealer
Edited to add lighter rims are another one

Simple, short answer: any mod that you can get the dealer to put on for you will be under warranty.

Any mod can void a warranty. Just take put the performance mod when you go to a dealer. I have only 99 miles on my 2020 Stinger and already put a JB4, intake, and exhaust for performance.

When I bought mine I asked my dealer about it, really only planning on an intake and exhaust at some point in the future. They told me that both of those *should* be fine, but just to be safe I plan on having them install

Although not these are not engine mods, IMO they are performance mods none the less, upgrade Swaybars, Endlinks, Springs, Shocks, Brake Rotors & Pads, wheels & tyres plus a throttle controller, you’ll be amazed by the difference especially on windy roads & cornering.

I can think of a mod you can do without voiding the warranty - a few actually.

One is aerodynamics - smooth out the car, making fascia to smooth airflow around the mirrors, a belly pan, and so forth, and you'll get a bit of a performance boost. It won't do jack off the line (it'll slow you down in fact) but at freeway speeds you'll have better acceleration - noticeably so at the top end.

Another thing you can do is rig up a misting system for the intercooler; cooling the intake charge will net you more power, or stock power for much longer before the ECU pulls you back from heat soaking or pinging.

Another mod you can do is install heat shields under the hood to insulate the intake ducts.

Of those three, the intercooler misting would reap you the best benefits, and primarily on hot, dry days.

ANY performance mod can void a warranty...IF, it can be proven that that specific performance mod caused the issue. Adding a performance brand sticker, then engine blows... no warranty! I jk on the sticker thing of course, but this "will they or won't they" when it comes to warranty stuff is an interesting game of who the frack knows for sure these days. :coffee:
