Android Auto - connect wirelessly to Stinger 2020

My understanding was that with new Android 11 on my S20+ phone I can use Auto app without a cable. I took my phone to my car this morning but did not see how I can connect without the cable.
So, is it possible?

No, the headunit in the car has to support wireless Android Auto as well. Maybe that feature will be added in the 2022 Stinger.

Correct, there is an aftermarket device in development that you can plug into your USB media port and is supposed to allow wireless Android Auto support for non-wireless headunits.
