Am not too sure but, that’s showing up as something to do with the emissions. Power down, open gas cap and put it back on, it may take a bit for the code to go away. Keep us posted, I think service closes at 5PM

This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. So I posted my issue on a Stinger performance facebook page for US/Canada and apparently other people have had the same issue. It could be fouled spark plugs or a coil pack.

Over 30,000 km here... have not had any error code pop up onscreen... please let us know what they find!

It was a cracked spark plug. I’m hoping this is a one off but another owner who goes to Sherwood kia for service said that it could be a coil boot failure so it could happen again. I’m hoping not but I’ll give Sherwood kia a call this afternoon and talk to the service manager.

I had the same failure at about 4500km. Only misfired at full load above 3500rpm. One cracked plug cant remember which hole

We've had 3 stingers in the shop for issues relating to the plugs, the issue seems to point to certain production batches of the coils

Saw a gray Stinger on 75 Street today and a white one parked by the Bay at South Gate on Monday. Also had a red one roll pass me, crew is getting bigger

I know right?! I want to get a full detail and ceramic done in the garage this weekend but I normally perform the pre-polish steps in the driveway (wash, Iron-X, clay, etc)...if it doesn't quit raining it'll never get done. On the other hand I can try washing it IN the garage and see how much the wife complains about it lol.This weather, hadn’t washed my Stinger in like three weeks

Good deal - glad it was an easy fix.
Amazing having computers help track this stuff down now, something like a cracked spark plug used to be a bear to find - especially on an almost new vehicle, as it would be the last thing you'd check.

The Stinger is currently hiding in the garage, it shouldn't see rain for another 5 or so hours while my Carpro Gliss is curing. It should be out and about tomorrow, probably when it's raining lol. I am realizing there isn't much you can do to make white look better, mine is about as good as it will be I think.

Haha mine is a daily so it comes out anytime I need to go somewhere. I did notice the toll winter has taken on the car though, a few chips down to primer on the doors, a few at the leading edge of the drivers doors down to metal (I touched these up) and a few scuffs from rocks on the hood that I polished a bit. The good of detailing yourself is you can fix a lot of things, but the bad is you find all the problems. I wonder how this car is going to look if I keep it long term lol.
Q about the install of these. How do you make it fit AWD?

I think all Canadian Stingers are AWD, there’s a few threads on this forum that would help you out to install it. It’s a sweet upgrade, go for it.
