Replaced my BMS intercooler with a AIRTEC (same design as the Agency power/VR) intercooler. I noticed my intake temps are around 5 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit lower on average vs the BMS intercooler. Pretty good weight and sized difference between the two as well. I used my bathroom scale so the weights aren't super precise but I weighed the AIRTEC IC at 21.8lbs and the BMS IC at 29lbs

I almost bought a BMS after researching intercoolers, but decided that for the type of driving I do, and my car is stock, I didn't need another intercooler. I chose the BMS because it is absolutely huge and has much more thermal mass, both of which are desirable for removing heat.

Are you confident that you're correctly interpreting the temperature results between the two?

When you mention degrees, are you simply reading degrees, or are you stating how many degrees the charge is above ambient?

I find it surprising that the BMS is outperformed by a much smaller intercooler.

I've been looking at the difference between the ambient temp and charge air temps. I've attached two screenshots from a drive I took yesterday, the ambient temp that day was 100 degrees F. My intake/charge air temp deltas are a little lower because my car has a full mesh front lower grille so there's a lot more airflow. I had this grille while I had the BMS intercooler.

Yes sir, for $400 since I had it on the car for about 20k miles

Does it include all the BMS hardware - pipes, clamps, bolts, etc?

Just the pipes and clamps. I had to reuse some of the other hardware

Can you post pictures of what you have, and provide a list of what's missing?
