I know we have the UVO app but half the time I just get error messages or failed to start. Suffice to say I'm starting to get tired of it. Has anybody with a Canadian Kia Stinger Installed the Accessorides remote start with takeover on their car?

Did it work and was it compatible?

I have not tried it but I came across this the other day.

When I bought my 2020 Stinger, I asked the dealer to install a remote starter as I don't have a smart phone. I believe it's an iDatastart RF1111A 1 Button system. Works fine.

Yeah that UVO Intelligence system is really really crappy. It used to work most of the time with my 2018 Stinger GT Limited but lately, it works only 1 time out of 10 if it works at all. I'll seriously have a look at the MyKey Premium system mentionned by ThunderBoy724. Looks promising.

I dont live in Canada but I have the accessorides system with take-over and phone control, it works great for me. Installation was very very easy.

One of these days I am going to get the usb programer and see if I can unlock the aux wires (would love to be able to turn on vented seats with remote start).

Does it get the ac running at least? Live in the south so main reason why I would get the remote start in first place

You have to set AC before you exit car but yes it works well. Works for anything that auto comes on when the car is turned on

Hi there, I am also in Canada and purchased the Accessorides starter but my canbus is blocked by a metal bracket. Did you buy and install and if so, how did you remove the bracket? Thanks

Hey, I didn't buy it because of the bracket. Perhaps there is a way to remove the bracket or worse case cut it off.

Well if I decide to cut it off, I'll let you know how easy or hard it was and how it works in Canadian models that have OEM starter.

I managed to cut the sides of the bracket with a Dremel, took maybe 10 mins tops but I was being very careful. The farside was toughest as there isn't visislbility. Now I just have to figure out why the module doesn't have power

Hopefully you can get it working. I wonder if the Canadian Stingers have different wiring for that portion

I got it working. I guess I did in fact need to hook up the 2 wires for the box to have power. It's all setup now and it was a breeze. The smart phone app allows you to add remote truck but the other aux commands I don't know how to configure. The lag for commands is non existent. I'm happy with the purchase. The worst part now will be trying to get everything tucked in so I can put the underside of glove box back on

Hey there, did you happen to get the other Auxs hooked up? I tend to forget to have my heater on or set to auto I leave the car so typically my car isn't warm when I remote start it. Thanks
