About that Kia badge...

I vote for this as well. Not a huge fan of the 'E' as it would require explaining to people. The K is easy, 'Its the Korean logo for Kia'
I've made an inquiry with somebody local to have exactly this designed. I hope to have more information for you later this week. One way or another we'll have a round "K" badge similar to the "E" badge. Since I can't legally copy it and it'll need to be different, it'll most likely have a solid black center and we'll need to use something other than "Stinger" at the bottom. So perhaps the "K" logo in the center and "PERFORMANCE" lettering on the bottom...

Wait one second. The standard KIA badge for the Stinger in the U.S. is the oval version. So I imagine those of us who don't want the "E" badge will probably want a direct replacement for the one that comes on the car. Take a look at this "K" set:
https://stingerforum.org/kia-stinger-magazine/product/kia-3-0-k-badge-emblem-set/

Unless the KIA badge on the Stinger is different from the Optima, which these badges are a direct replacement for, then these will work perfectly. Does anyone know yet if the Stinger's KIA badge is unique? I don't want to go through the expense of designing, developing and printing a round "K" badge if the current replacement is well-liked. Plus, this "set" might be a direct replacement for the entire car inside and out - at a much lower price than newly designed custom badges will be.

Let me know your thoughts...

If you look closely at pics of the front hood and rear hatch , there are no indents or raised areas for the badges , they are flat panels so the replacement badges you posted will work . There will be centering holes in the front because the E badge I have has 3 so the ovals will easily cover them

Cool. That would be great because people would rather have something they can apply right then and there without having to get a dremel to remove those posts in the back.

i was set to order the e badge and the stinger badge for the back but i would have had to remove the smaller stinger badge from the rear left and wasn't sure what i'd put there. otherwise there would be two stinger badges on the back. now i think i'll just get the new k badge and put that in the center on the front and back and leave everything else the way it is. i see the setup you're selling here has all 7 badges i'd need. that's one for the front, one for the back, one for each wheel and one for the steering wheel.

I found a TURBO badge in virtually the same font as the Stinger so I'm going to replace the small Stinger with it ........................

It's not the Porsche Turbo badge is it? That's pretty recognizable.

I am thinking....

3 Stinger scripts in total:

1 large in the back, replacing all badges
2 small on the sides (to make it easier for the interested to identify without causing accidents) :)

1 KIA or "E" on the hood.

I think ponting to turbo is kind of superfluous, considering that most these days have one.

By placing the large Stinger on the back it makes the small one redundant , but also leaves the rear a bit unbalanced IMHO , so the generic turbo provides a bit of symetry ...............and small Stingers on the side ? I really dont get that , again IMHO

Well, there are many cars, particularly sport or sporty ones, that have some sort of side "garnish", even trucks, whether fake grills, decals or badges. I don't see anything "unbalanced" about the yellow rear end below, but the red & white one look very busy. Take your pick. :)

All 3 look fine , its your side branding idea I'm wondering about , but hey why not ! What color did you order ??

I think it would look best de-badged altogether, but with the mounting holes under the Kia badges seems like that would be impossible..

I intend to have all vulnerable spots covered by PPF (Paint Protection Film - 3M etc), so the badges will come off anyway and can be subsequently "reassigned".
Car's color is Thunder Grey
Glass will be tinted.
The "A" pillars will receive the film treatment too.
The question:
Would covering the "A" pillars and the rear of the roof in black (carbon anybody?) be too much?
I mean, half the roof, because of the sun roof, appears to be black anyway.
Somebody said, two-tone is high-end.
What y'all think? Good idea?

If you color the rest of the roof black then it'll look a lot like the Optima with it's full-roof tinted window? I'm not saying that's good or bad. I have a 2012 Optima and I like the way the roof looks, but if you park it outside a tall office building all the people looking down on it will think it's an Optima :P

Carbon is a personal decision. I'm in the camp of making things look like carbon fiber when they clearly aren't is a little poser-y, but again I have a 2012 Optima and it's certainly guilty of that in the interior.
