Hi all in the UK. Where you all from? What variant you driving. So many questions................
I'm in Cambridgeshire and running a 2.0 GT-Line in Panthera Metal

Are there any UK Stinger clubs or up and coming meets (Pandemic allowing)?

Another UK Owner here. Only had my car two weeks. Got the 2.2 CRDI GT Line in Panthera Metal. also.

I am looking to get involved in the forum, so good to see you are too.

Also just ordered some new badges from the shop here, so will post pics when done!

Last time I was there (late 2018), I saw as many Stingers in Pembrokeshire in a week (three) than I had since it was released here in the USA. I live in a city of almost 5 million.

I don't think it fits the typical urban setting. (I'm from the Midlands.)

How are you finding the Stinger? I've had mine just over a month and loving it. Looking forward to a meet up at some point in the future, pandemic allowing.

Happy with the car, although not getting as many miles in as I would normally, with lockdown! Would be great to get a few stingers together at some point, you see so few, so to see a 'pride' of stingers together would be great!

Hi Hilleagle. Where are you from? I totally agree that we don't see many Stingers about. I hope, when Pandemic allows, we will indeed be able to have a get together

In the 4 months I have had my Stinger I have yet to see another Stinger on the road, only one or two parked on a KIA forecourt. Even have a bet with my kids, if they get a photo of another Stinger on the road they get 10 bucks!

I know what you mean. I have test driven a couple and bought one! Not seen any others, which is a shame, but it does mean we are part of an exclusive club, which was one of the attractions!

I haven't seen another apart from the Kia Managers new ceramic grey one, although that's at the Kia dealership. Yet to see one on the road. Like Hilleagle said 'part of an exclusive club'.

the Stinger defo gets some reaction, had a few people come over and ask "what is it?" and a couple who know exactly what it is even with the rebadge and extremely complimentary saying its such a nice shape car. My GF thinks its a bit ostentatious LOL. The best I have had so far is when I left the GF in the car to go collect a takeaway, someone(a woman) apparently walked over to the front of the car and had a very close inspection of the car and badge and took a photo, all while my GF was sitting in the car. LOL. Think it suddenly dawned on her its a chick magnet!!

Thanks to J Jay I managed to find this UK section. So I am little bit late to the party. I got mine last March. It has been a lovely since. Its white pearl and red interior. I got the V6. Done some obligatory rebadging, and changed the exhaust.
I am based in London and I only seen 2 since I got the car.

Hi lifemissioner. I actually saw my 1st Stinger in the wild on Saturday! Very rare car and mine debadged too, so I know what you mean regarding people not knowing what the car is!

It's the badge, I think. So much value for money, but people just don't seem to want them. I think they're mad!

Welcome Gazp. And I totally agree, most people seem to miss the car, just because of the badge! Their loss is our exclusivity!

They going to become super rare now that they not making any more of the 2.0 litre petrol and 2.2 litre diesels, they just selling whats in stock

If any of you UK chaps are ordering from the US shop, let me know I can probably buy a few items from the shop and share the postage etc. Postage from US looks to be about $22

Note the following, over the value of £39 its import VAT on the value of the product excluding postage costs. So 20% VAT and then £8 admin fee on top. Over £135 its VAT + Customs Duty of 2.5% + £8 admin charge
