Has anyone upsized from the 225/45/18 to 235/45/18 on the stock 18" GT Wheels? Wondering if there will be any clearance issues. Car has stock suspension and no spacers.

I'm running that size for winter tires on my stock 18" wheels with no clearance issues. It's only 5mm more towards the strut, and 5mm more towards the fender (10mm wider total).

you can run up to 255's all around on the OEM wheels, both 18 and 19 inch, with no clearance issues from what other members have said on here in the past.

Edit, Im not sure I would go 45 though, as your speedo would be incorrect by a MPH or two. For example, I have 225/45/18s on my car right now as my winter tires, and the car reads that I am doing 70 when every other device I have (Google maps/waze/draggy) consistently read 68ish.

255’s would be too big for the 18x8’s. I almost went 245/40/18 but the sidewalls would bulge out a bit. Speedo off is correct, but according to calculators online it should only be 1Mph off at 90mph and less than that the slower I go, so it shouldn’t be a problem

The stock 18 inch rims are 8.5's, at least, on mine they are. 18 GT2 with the cold weather package.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Yeah thats my problem. I have the AWD GT1 with 18x8’s. If I had 18x8.5 I could do 245’s no issue, and probably 255 without issue. The 8” just isnt quite big enough for those tires

Running 245/40/18 on 18.0 stock wheels. Plenty of clearance. Might go 45 profile next time for some more comfort and more accurate speedo. Currently reads 1-2 mph fast at higher speeds compared to phone & garmin gps.

When comparing speedo error between tires, look at revs per mile, not calculated diameter (based on size). The latter differs between tire brands/models.
