2023 Stinger GT2

Damn, glad I got my GT1 when I could. Couldn't justify/afford the cost for the GT2 but still wanted the 3.3L.
Not necessarily. Canada hasn’t had a GT1 trim at any point. Dropping that trim could be a way to simplify production and align the two markets as the new cosmetic packages they added mirror what Canada got last year.

That alcantera dash  ...
It looks way better than the black leather dash. It was my least favourite part of the interior and looks cheap IMO. I swapped mine and it looks way more premium, especially with the new vents.

No one has commented yet on the change to the GT badge. I think it looks terrible and they’ve carried it over to the headrests and steering wheel. Why the change? The old font was so much nicer.

I'm actually thinking of taking my old style GT badge off. Throws off the balance.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I'm not nearly careful enough with my cars to get suede!

Funny thing is I just ordered a carbon fiber/alcantara steering wheel. If not for StinherbyAdoom's post I probably never would have considered one.

I took it off the outside too but the headrests and steering wheel still have it and the old badge looks way better.

I just put a deposit on a 2023 Stinger that should be landing next week. Anybody know if there are any changes from 22 to 23? Heard screen is different, brakes are upgraded because of current issues. Can't find a single thing online.
is there going to be a 2023 Kia Stinger GT2 Scorpion? and if so what color options?

Why would you add Mercedes Benz vents to a Stinger? And not even from a nice Merc... from the A-klass.
I would absolutely stick to the original vents.

They look so much better. Trust me. Everyone that has seen them in person is blown away by how much more premium it looks. And they're LED backlit.

which post of mine? Honestly I lose track.... Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Good thing: I ordered a new steering wheel! :D
Bad thing: I paid for a new steering wheel.

You mentioned how alcantara can be taken care of with a little regular maintenance. So I searched for products on Amazon and was blown away by the before/after pictures. The only reason I'd never gone to an alcantara wheel is because I thought it was trash once it gets dirty.

Ohhhh right right right. I remember now. I still stand by my statement don't worry. My girlfriend and I just ordered an Elantra N for her, so now I'm going to have to show her how to clean her interior properly, the thing has loads of it everywhere.

Sonax Alcantara cleaner? That’s what I have and very happy with it so far. Keeps my Alcantara arm rest looking new.

There's quite a few of them. Sonax has good reviews. I'll probably buy it when the time comes.

I just cheated...

Steering wheel cover.jpg

Got a spare one for when the first one dies.
Cleaning not required :D

I actually really like it because it increases the grip size and feels more meaty.

As for the 23 model, I'm lovin those seats, the chrome replacement with black but otheriwise, meh...
The new badging and the red seatbelts are.....not to my taste.

Nice! Where did you get it? :)
