2022 Front badge removal

Has anyone removed the new front badge from the 2022 model (non-oval type)? It doesn't look like it has posts, but I'm not sure and don't want to find out by removing it. Just curious if anyone had already done it and can give me the lowdown.

I've yet to see it posted here.

I know for the 2018-2021 Stingers you can remove the front emblem but there will be holes that were drilled from the factory underneath.

Yes that was my understanding too. I haven't found anywhere online where someone has removed it yet so I figured I'd check here too.

That's what it looks like to me also, but I really don't want to get halfway through and find out I'm wrong.

What could go wrong? You use floss/fishing line, working inward from all edges; and say you run into a post or three; okay, so what? Once you've cut the 3M tape away clear to the posts, you lift (gently pry) the KIA off. The worst that could happen is discovering that the posts on this rather enormous badge are out near the ends, i.e. not readily coverable by a smaller badge option.

Yeah, I use the floss method normally for all my other cars, and it worked great for the three badges on the back.
I can tell you this, so far the floss isn't working on that front badge. It appears to be metal and is cutting the floss almost immediately.

I have confirmed, there are no posts. It is just a sticker on the surface and can be removed. It is on there pretty good though and is made out of metal, so it likes to cut through the floss/fishing wire, so be prepared to take your time and use very small amounts of heat.

There are no holes underneath it.

Great news. That means that a complete debadge from 2022 forward will not require filling in holes.

Correct, however I feel it's important to stress that the front is on there much harder than the rears. I could see it being VERY easy to damage the paint in the front doing it.

My 2022 Stinger just arrived at the dealership and i'm thinking of debadging the rear new Kia logo to put a stinger script on. Do someone know if there are holes behind the new Kia logo on the rear of the canadian 2022 stinger models?
