2022 3.3 GT2 AWD CEL Today - No Mods...

Im another 2022 gt1 owner that has experienced this issue. Only happened once. After jb4 install hasn't happen again. I'm still under 2k miles.

Just had this happen for the first time for me. Also 2022 GT1. About 1500 miles on the car. It was also fully warmed up after driving around for about 45 minutes. Was working most of my trip and noticed no boost right before I got home. Also wasn't really romping on it but on and off no more than half throttle right before/as it happened. I'm not entirely sure exactly when it stopped working. No CEL.

Edit: Just took another quick drive and was operating normally. Checked codes, pending code for P0234 - overboost.

Dealer appointment next Monday. Gonna have them do the fuel pump recall. My cel never came back on but the p0234 is stored. Will be interesting to see what they say. Boost/throttle/fuel cut whatever it is happens under all climates and car is warm. Barely have to push the car to get it to happen

So far it's happened to me twice and I'm not 100% positive but I think it's only happened while I lost traction in a few turns (consecutively) because I was giving it a decent amount of gas. I've been trying to be a little more diligent about how much I'm giving it while taking turns from a stop and then jumping on the gas when I'm straightened out and so far, no loss of boost since but who knows. At this point it could be anything. Why it would throw an overboost during traction loss is beyond me so that's why I'm not really convinced that's the issue.

Yeah I can get it to do it in a straight line stopped or moving

Sorry to hear it, let us know how it goes.

Such a great car - but indiscriminately losing boost is demoralizing, and takes the joy out of driving it.

Can even be dangerous if pulling into traffic/merging/passing and the power you expect isn't there.

Let us know if the fuel pump replacement fixes your issue. I heard some people getting good results after they got the blow off valves checked. As for me, I know the issue pops up sometimes when I'm not in sport more and go over rough pavement or attempt a fast turn. The car dumps all boost. In sport mode its better. It complains a bit but still allows wheel slip. Had some fun melting the stock brakes on a mountain road lol.

This has happened to me 3 times total now. I had a pedal tuner on and thought that was the issue. Sold it in the fall and didn't have a problem till the other day. Car goes flat, doesn't even feel like a V6 when it happens. No CEL and restart brings the boost back.

With you it makes sense bc of the dps but I only did intakes/exhaust bc I didn't wanna have to tune it yet lol

That sounds like the traction control nannies. I think it's a mix of us some having that and others hitting boost limists/torque limits. For the stock boys that makes zero sense
