Just ordered the mbrp exhaust for the 2022-2023 that a lot of us have been waiting for, I’m happy so I don’t lose the active exhaust, hopefully this makes the car sound better. Just wanted to let everybody know that it’s finally available.

How do you keep active exhaust if there replacing the catback ? does it hook up to mbrp exhaust ?

There’s a valve on the exhaust on the tail pipe that opens in sport and closes on comfort.

I assume that is has valves in the outer pipes similar to the stock exhaust that hook up to the stock electrical connections.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
You have link to the mbrp exhaust ? don't see it on there website.

Looking forward to hearing how the car sounds! Thank you again!
had this system put on a month ago.there is no active exhaust connection on it.it still sounds good.

That's the old system for the 2018-2021 years. MBRP made one specifically for the 2022+ models that uses the active exhaust. Only 5 have been released so far and they shipped out last week.

I have a 2023 GT2 RWD ... does this model have Active Exhaust?

Yes. Your exhaust is active/valved. When you switch to sport model it changes.

Hmmm ... what happens when it 'changes'?
I probably won't explain this thoroughly, but basically when you put it in sport mode, the valve opens up and makes the exhaust sound a little more aggressive. It does this by allowing some of the exhaust gasses pass through a different route. Not entirely sure if it does a whole lot for performance, if so it's not a whole lot. Someone else can probably provide a better explanation.

That works for me ... appreciate the information.
