Hi all, i’m new here and i’m very close to locking in a deal for a used 2019 Stinger GTS with 26,000 miles on it for $39,750 + the dealer is taking me out of my ‘20 Sonata lease that i’m upsidown in due to an accident. I was wondering if this is a good deal as I was considering financing the vehicle. Thank you in advance for any advice :)

edit: I should mention my ‘20 Sonata is being turned in as is 14k miles on it, two big dents in the hood where paint chipped from a rock, curb rash on a wheel and that’s all going to be overlooked. the 19 Stinger has a few rock chips and curb rash as well but I told them i’ll take it if they fix it all up. The dealer said they would fix these things after I purchase the vehicle. I know word of mouth means nothing so i’ll be asking that they include it in the contract or write something up so I have it in writing.

Welcome. Sounds dicey to me. And I cannot wrap my head around a 2019 going for $39K+, the world is turning upside down.

does it seem fair given the market or am I being ripped off? Also it’s sketchy to me too but i want them to put it in writing so it’s binding, but i’m more than willing to walk away from the deal

For reference I also found a 2019 GT1 AWD with 26k miles for 39k, it’s making me think the GTS is overpriced maybe

The GTS is a limited edition, sort of like a GT with some GT1 features, plus the D-AWD. If I recall correctly, the GTS was a little bit higher MSRP than a GT1, and it looks like asking price of this vehicle is most of a grand more than the GT1, so, probably realistically it should be a bit more for the GTS (plus Fed Orange is the best color in pics :D).

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Wrapping my head around the $39k depends on options…. The mileage is considered low for a 2019 but is it AWD & dose it have the moonroof package? I’d also ask for a new set of tires!

Someone referred to the GTS as the GT .5 but with drift mode.

Seems a little high to me for an orange.

Do not think there were options on the gts other than awd. Mine is.
has launch control, drift mode, sun roof, etc. Think only only choice with gts was rwd or awd

Power lift gate, Napa Leather Upholstery, Heated/ Ventilation Seats, Wireless Device Charging, Hardon Karmon Premimum Sound System, Head Up Display & 360 Camara System

Think those options were for gt1 and GT2 and not choices For the gts in 2019. i have most of those except the heads up which I really wanted. Do not have 360 camera either but not something I would want. Also gts runs 19” wheels with wider rear tires

Yeah as far as I'm aware the GTS is RWD or AWD + heated steering wheel as the only options, but I'm also concerned for the reliability of the car. I'm doing a little more research now, but because this is coming from a Hyundai dealership, I won't get the 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty, it defaults to a 5 year/60k mile warranty, which is almost up.

Have not had any problems with the gts. However, it is my summer vehicle and I am retired. Have just over 5,000 miles on it so I am not one to ask about reliability

How would the gts be any less reliable than any other gt, gt1, gt2?
