I would download everything again. Also, try to use a windows laptop. When I used my Mac to install the software on the SD card the Nav ended up with no sound.
Legend thx...July 2024 update is now available at July 2024 Navigation Map and Software Update > Notice | Official Kia Navigation Update Website. This appears to have both software and map version updates for all 2017+ model stingers, unlike the last release.
I think I did a factory reset about 1,5 years ago when the Nav lost its voice. I haven't since but I honestly don't expect it to change anything. I think it's just slow.Have you tried a factory reset? As you know the underlying OS is android based. Over time the file system can be come quite messy. As there is no option to 'wipe cache', factory reset is the next best thing.
I guess some parts of the world get it first..March 2025 update is on the Kia site now. Looks like no software change, but a newer map version.

If you are in Australia New Zealand and you have a vehicle 21 on wards you are probably better off leaving the factory software.Yeah according to the updater site for Aus it's out but only for gen5w units so only 2021 and newer models
And as usual no update for standard g5 nav. Looks like that's all she wrote updates wise.September update dropped. Looks like another release with only map changes.
The map version is still the same from last years releaseyes, it is. I can see the standard gen 5 in the list, the first one there, 7 & 8 touchscreen
