Those Red/Red Stingers they produced on a whim. I wouldn't count it out 100% You just never know.Seeing as how they killed the red on red I doubt we'll ever be seeing it Canada, making 2018 US stingers it's only form of availability. So I doubt I'll ever get a chance to own my dream combo, red/red GT RWD w/LSD (Limited Slip Differential) or GT1 AWD
First and foremost, thanks to Jason and KiaOfMuncie for providing information. Second, it's awesome to see the missing features make it back into the US car. But I am totally confused at why Kia doesn't just standardize the interior/exterior colors across the world. It seems it would make assembly and distribution easier. Personally, I'd like a GT2 in Silkly Silver/Red or a ChromaBlue/Black with all the options!

I think where sells are low limiting it to popular options only would make sense. But current distribution doesn't make sense in that regard. I was eyeing for silky silver GT2 with red interior and it seems like the option is gone and very few are left (I was able to find one but don't want to pull the trigger yet).
I’ve seen the panthera metal. It is ok but very flaky in appearance just like a cheap pant job with lots of sparkles in the paint. It’s almost black. Is that a "yes"?![]()
Have you ever bought an iPhone? The next year they make slight changes and everyone has to get an upgrade. That was the Bangle Butt , named after their chief designer Chris Bangle ..................he got the gong shortly after ! bawaaaaActually, come to think of it the Nissan 350 bumped up the price point quite a bit on the 370 redesign... the 370 is still hailed as one of the longest running, least successful cars of all time.
The thing that kills the G70 for me, is the trunk lid looks exactly like the old BMW 7-series deck lid. You know the one I'm talking about, the one that looked like an after-thought. The interior console is also cluttered, doesn't look like as much design attention went into it. I do like the upholstered door inserts though, those are a nice touch. The overall design doesn't really nail it. It's like everything in the car is 'close' to being awesome, but just didn't quite make it over the threshold.

I had 2 E60 550MSports , the design was polarizing for sure , when I see one now I really dont like them ..........my 1st one was a lemon and bought back by BMW Canada ..............I think the new 850 is a masterpiece !I believe Panthera Metal is what we've had already here in Canada. It's called Thunder Grey. I also believe that Ceramic Silver is our Ghost Grey. Canada didn't have Silky Silver. Ceramic Silver/Ghost Grey with red interior was my dream combo, but we didn't have that option in Canada in 2018. We did have White on red though, so I settled on that.
I think Bangle was the only person to bring positive change to BMW design in the past decade. Since he left, the company settled back into evolutionary changes, and didn't really advance. It's only until very very recently, such as with the i-series cars and the new X2, that BMW has begun to show signs of designing with tools other than a photocopier. The defining car of the Bangle era, the E60 5-series, was a masterpiece next to its successor, the F10. With the F10, it was as if BMW decided they needed to make the most nondescript design they could come up with.
