2019 Kia K900....Must go Faster Help

Brent, thank you for all the kind words. It has been an absolute pleasure brainstorming with you on this project. The K9 looks amazing and is almost done. Pics to come..........
Hi all. I'm following this thread with enormous interest as I'm possibly looking to replace (or maybe complement?) a '13 CTS-V with an AWD vehicle later this year, and wanted something more luxurious, but only if it could be modded for more power. I was very interested in the K900, but only if work of this sort could be done. Your dealer sounds like the place! Looking forward to the pics and hearing how it drives!

Hopefully will pick up the car MONDAY!!! stay tuned for pics and upgrades :)
Brent

Tune the ECU and speed breaks free. Speed expands to new territories. Painfully, perhaps even dangerously.

But speed, uh...finds a way.

A tuned K900. Now I have heard it all.

I got a chance to drive one yesterday and man it was more fun than I would have expected! Not bad at all. It gets up to speed quickly and with a muted engine note even with the enhanced setting of the piped in exhaust noise. Went on an on-ramp clover leaf and dropped it into 3rd while in sport mode and it held well enough although I feel better tires would allow for more grip. In sport mode it’s quite buttoned down and road imperfections don’t upset the car or makes it feel floaty. I can see why you would want to give it some more power. I’m sure the V8 version would be more fun or even the 3.5T when it gets added to the car later.

Looking forward to see how this project turn out for you.

Perhaps upload them to imgur then click the image button above and add the photo link? It's a guess, I haven't used this forum system before.

As someone also thinking of a K900 and similar mods, would you mind giving me an idea of the cost of just your flash and associated go-faster hardware updates? Thanks!

I take them with my phone (iPhone) then copy and paste into messages, sometime during creation or on an edit. Hope that helps.

Looks like it is coming from a Mac, you should be able to just drag and drop the photo into the text window or copy the photo and paste.

Here is the engine upgrade pic and a cool one in the am....More pics to follow. It's supposed to be pretty here tomorrow...I'll get some good pics in the daylight. By the way....this car is VERY MUCH QUICKER than stock!!! Actually got all 4 tires to smoke a bit today :) Lovin the K900

Some more pics of the Install....Again...keep in mind that City Kia of Orlando Florida does these upgrades for you and you maintain your factory warranty!!!!

Hey Brent......note 8 user here also...if you click on the tab below "upload a file" click on the icon on the right.....marked files.....there you should he able to load a pic without viewers downloading anything! Good luck

His files are too big. I was about to upload them for him but got an error message.

Brent, it looks like you're shooting with a D3200? When you save the files on your computer there should be an option to lower the quality. That should help get the size down enough to allow you upload them directly to the forum.

Or you could just use your phone to take pics and upload them directly from the phone to the forum.

Yes. It's an SLR like 25 MegaPixels. Even the lowest settings are too big ;( I'll just take some photos with my phone and upload them :)
