20 inch aftermarket wheels upgrade

It looks good but just wondering how much heavier a 20” wheel/tire is compared to a stock 18” wheel/tire. I know you posted concerns about aftermarket intercooler weight effecting braking and driveability.

As a general rule of thumb, 1 pound of unsprung weight = 2 pounds of sprung weight.

Don't know about the weight of the stock 18" wheels, but it isn't hard to find wheels, even larger ones, that are lighter than the stock 19" set. I estimate that I am going to lose at least 10 lbs per corner when I go to my summer wheels even though they're wider.

Im also looking to get wheels on my 2018 GT2 but I have absolutely no idea what these numbers mean. Can someone give me like a 5 min crash course as to what I should look for?

I can give you a shorter "course" than five minutes: go to a wheel and tires shop and get them to find wheels for you. Even now, three years later and a whole lot less ignorant, I would not trust myself to go wheel shopping alone.

Finding wheels that fit isn’t too hard when using a tool like this:

However, things to keep in mind when changing wheel widths and offset is scrub radius as that can really influence handling of a vehicle.

But I would still not trust these by myself. One of the more common "oopsie" stories on here is someone who bought wheels with the right offset but the configuration of that particular design caused rubbing, apparently from the inner spokes. If a pro makes that mistake, at least you have recourse without having to pay for it.
