2.0T 2.0 Aftermarket Downpipe?

You'll need

10mm for the heat shield bolts x3
12mm for the metal shield x3
14mm for the nuts holding the top x4
O2 socket or a pair of vice grips (if your careful) to remove top sensor
Bottom sensor you can get to the top still and I used vice grips to loosen it.
14mm for middle bracket to block x4

Be careful with the middle bracket because its not the best. My weld broke and I had to find someone who had a tig welder to fix it. Please run your bolts through the bracket before you put it in. If you mess up and need new bolts the treads are M10 x1.25. Dont ask me how I know that. Its been a bitch on a week for me.

Is this downpipe fitted to the stock exhaust? Or is there an cat back you are already using that fits the downpipe? I guess my question is what aftermarket exhausts does the down pipe fit? If anyone knows that information.

the downpipe will fit on the stock exhaust. no problems there. It is a direct bolt on.

Nice work getting it installed, also thank you for sharing your experience and findings.

Notice any improvement after the install?

Yeah, it was more responsive and at

Yea, it was more responsive and had a deeper sound at higher rpms in side the car. I would probably go with the cheaper version next time and get the catless one. It is a good product I just had a bad time because of my actions.

When you installed, did any of the warning lights go off? CEL or AFR? Would you know if catless would give out warning lights?

When i put it on, i drive around 30 miles and then the engine light came on. I would imagine that if you did the catless version, it would come on around the same time. If I did it again, I would buy the cheaper version (catless) and then buy a tune and plugs so you can delete the code.

Have you attached this downpipe without any issues besides the code? and can you post a link to this?

Heres the link to the product.https://sharkracing.com/2018-stinger-2-0-performance-downpipe/

As for the problems, ive mentioned I ran into the exhaust manifold studs that have flares at the end. There should be pictures in this feed.

I ordered the catless version. Should I also get an 02 sensor and EWG? I don’t want to have any issues with passing inspection/having codes/engine light or go into limp mode.

Did you get around to installing the catless DP? If so did you run into any issues?
