Anyone use this? Results? I don't care about the inability to run the engine cover, just want to see some actual gains lol. It looks like it can help in theory.
But it sure makes spark plugs easier to change lol

That is Darrin S' website. "AWDGT2" here on the forum. He makes them and he's running it on his car.

Great guy. He basically installed my WMI and is always my sounding board for anything car related. His car is legit quick! Hit him up for more info.

I’ve tried the Phallic spacer…

I used to running something like this on a G35 and it resulted in a few hp on that n/a engine.

I would like to know the results of this as well on a Stinger/G70.

You will get no perceivable gains.

Use that money for something else.

@AWDGT2 hows the spacer treating you? Got any before and after tests?
I tried for 10's for nearly a year. Once I put it in I ran an 11.06, then 11.01, then a 10.96. I truly believe it helped. I wouldn't of spent countless of hours CADing this on my own time. I even bought a used lower intake off ebay to model this. It's been proven since the 60's that intake spacers work, period. Every dyno test, every track run, proves it over and over and over. This platform is no different. You will gain a few HP and a few pounds of torque. The big advantage is separating the air (and meth if you have it) from the heat source just a bit. That results in denser air and more fuel. Lastly, getting to plug three with this in is just as easy as all the rest.
There's always haters and pundits and that's fine, I'm perfectly fine with them not running it, LOL

Do you have a version you are selling that has a pre-made gasket by any chance?

Yes, I'm sorry for not updating the website. I have premade gaskets now, no need to cut your own. I've been busy at my full time job, I just need an hour or so to take a good photo and get it on the site.

Very, Very temping then.... Do you do the powder coating to get them orange like in the photo? or does it come orange?

It's phenolic material, synthetic. Industry name is Micarta, that's the natural color, it's nonmetallic. That's why it has superior qualities over aluminum. Aluminum will absorb heat and maintain it in this scenario because it's not acting like a heat sink. Phenolic is a true heat insulator and doesn't absorb heat.

very interesting. Good to know. I think you need an install video/instructions for the less mechanically savvy, and you would be set.

Any potential downsides? Is this like longer intake runners that increase power at low rpm, while reducing a bit at higher rpm? And since we never run past ~5500 (for peak power), we don't really see the downside?

Down sides are you can't fit the engine cover. Jury is still out exactly where power and torque gains are but they are there. This was a side project for me and I put a LOT of time and money into it. I don't have access to an AWD dyno, nor am I interested in buy a FULL days worth of a dyno to run it without, then install, and run it again. I'll send one out to anyone willing to give it a try but one condition, they either buy it, or send it back. I'm already in the hole too much.

Any plans for sxth to use this to allow for full e85?
