I contacted Katzkin about putting in new upholstery in my GT2 AWD. They replied (through my local installer) that they had a kit, but it wouldn't fit if my model had a Power Thigh Extension on the driver seat. I've never heard of such a thing--does it have one or not?

Also, they said the door panels would be vinyl. Do you consider that to be a deal-breaker?

The top trim level does have power thigh extension on the driver's seat. See 'Front Seat Adjustment - Power' in your owner's manual.

Thigh extensions make the seat bottom longer. Usually seen in higher end comfortable cars (S class, 7 series)

Vinyl wouldn’t be a deal breaker if it looked good. It’s a low wear area so I wouldn’t worry about it being vinyl.
