New Stinger Website

I actually hope not. I don't believe the Kia K900 has Apple Carplay or Android Auto capability. If Kia were to upgrade it to allow capability then I would not mind having a 9.2 inch screen in the Stinger.

I imagine the K900 doesn't have CarPlay or Android Auto. Genesis owners with the 'premium' infotainment that has the 9.2 inch screen got the shaft with Android Auto & CarPlay, while owners that had the base system with the smaller screen got the upgrades. But as far as I know, this is because they upscale system has a different CPU architecture and for whatever reason Hyundai/Kia didn't want to spend the money to port their software, or move to a operating system that would run on either. So homogenization would still be the solution here :)

I would love to see the "best of the best" from the Hyundai/Kia's parts bin used in the Stinger. But it's likely that they will use the infotainment system (this might include things like more wattage for the sound system, the screen size, Alexa can start the car, etc.) as one of the ways to differentiate (and charge more money for) the G70.

Based on the price range they are targeting I expect it to "contented" slightly better than the Cadenza but still under the K900 (and Genesis). An example would be 3 more speakers and 90 more watts for the sound system over the Cadenza.

I was looking over the site and noticed a centrifugal pendulum absorber in the list of options:

Centrifugal Pendulum Absorber (CPA) torque converter

Apparently this is a type of tuned mass damper that reduces the amplitude of torsional vibration. Does anyone know how unique this is to the Stinger?

It is used in the diesel-powered world to help with some of the NVH issues that plague diesel vehicles. I believe some BMW and Mercedes diesel sedans are on the short list.

As far as gas powered vehicles go I believe the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with the 2.0T engine uses one as well.

So rare but not unique.
