Have a fix for vent behind front wheels. Staple screen over holes in wheel wells. Paint staples black. If anybody has noticed look at your back doors they will get paint damage from rocks coming through and hitting back doors already had both repainted. Just some FYI for everyone.

Nope screen staples. Just rinse off screen when I wash car. It was 300 to repaint both doors where they got scratched.shoved wash cloth in there first when I pulled out they had all kinds of pebbles and crap. So I know that’s the problem . Channel is deep in front door then flares out at backdoor then bam damage. I’ll get some pics out soon

Is that where you’re getting damage FI?

ETA
I’m thinking the existence of the tape is essentially an admission of guilt by Kia. You should be reimbursed for your costs.

Impact zone is right above tape. You will see watch that area tire are very sticky so they pick up lots of Little Rock’s.Grab some wash clothes and roll them up and wedge in there. Check after month you will see all the crap it catches.

Unless you are running road races you don’t need the air opening. Rotors are all ready vented

You can even use foam. I might change screens in future to foam wedges and just paint them black. They look cool the vents that is. But a lot of you will be joining me to repaint your doors to keep those stingers looking awesome again

I think you will find rocks are coming from the front wheels and not through the vents.

Many cars have stone protection there depending on body design with no front vents.

If you look inside the fender you can see that the lining can be lifted slightly around vent. I intend to get some mesh and slide it under between the vent and lining. I will send you pics when done. Should work ok.

It's will stop things going through the vent, but it won't stop stone chips before the back wheels.

What 8star has done will.

I bought them too. Waiting on the badges and bringing the car to my installer shop. I generally don’t travel on gravel roads but I can’t afford to Xpel Clear Bra the whole car.

I'm coming up on 6k miles and don't have a single mark on the doors. Do you drive on a lot of gravel/sand?

Nope know gravel roads. But have been well into triple digits mph many times maybe that gets the flying. Well keep and I on it so when it does happen and it will you will know where it came from.

Ok after ALOT of stuffing about I got the screens in. I went down to my local security screen door place and they gave me some heavy duty stainless steel mesh which was painted black. I cut a template using cardboard from a cereal box and trimmed so it was slightly bigger than the hole as they is a recess in the brake vent opening that you have to fit to as the lining has to overlap it and hold it in and prevent water from getting in. At no time did I have to remove and lining or the wheels.
The hardest part was cutting the mesh. Any way all done! Looks great.
One other thing to note the vents are different sizes, don’t know why.
