Don't do carbon fibre on the roof , that much CF would not look correct vs the sunroof and the painted portion between the windshield and sunroof , gloss black would be consistant , agree that it should not extend to the pillars or top of doors . CF vinyl is much better when used on the interior I think
A Cordoba !! BawaaaaThat picture I did up there makes it look like the Stinger has a landau top.I should do one as a joke.

The downside of gloss vinyl is it shows scratches , My neighbours Maseratti has a gloss vinyl roof and it does show blemishes .@westcoastGT don't worry, the CF was just to tease you. Remember the CF mirror you posted. LOL
The roof needs to be piano black, IF et all. Many thanks for your input.![]()

Exactly , much better appearance and more durable , the other side of vinyl on the exterior is it can shrink over time .It did cross my mind, that vinyl may be too delicate. If you are really serious, for the price of vinyls (or close) one could probably have that little area painted and clear coated.

How do you take off badges? Doesn’t it damage the paint?I'm glad you mentioned that. I knew the Korean Stinger had that script where we get the KIA logo, and our stinger script is on the left, but I didn't notice that they were different sizes. If that's the case I may just take both badges off and get the original Stinger to put in the center.
Ok I’ll google videos when the time comes. Seems easy enough.I'll use fishing line and WD40 & micro fibre cloth for any sticky stuff that remains![]()
No they will come with a 2 sided sticky tape , just peel and stickI was afraid it damages the paint. So new badges have the adhesive on them or do I use something?
Well, there are many cars, particularly sport or sporty ones, that have some sort of side "garnish", even trucks, whether fake grills, decals or badges. I don't see anything "unbalanced" about the yellow rear end below, but the red & white one look very busy. Take your pick.![]()
