Eibach Pro-Kit Springs and Sway Bar Review w/ pics

@DaJackson now that you’ve been driving it awhile since install, how much has it settled(springs)? Any lower? How’s the drive? Still good?

I actually planned to remeasure this weekend. I’ll post once I do.

The ride is the same as in my post, no changes really.

Still two thumbs up. :thumbup::thumbup:

@DaJackson looking forward to seeing how much more it settled and where (front back or both) given the cars weight distribution

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
So looks like it could settle some more, maybe even close to the 1.4/1.2 advertised for the awd... not too bad, about expected I would think

Just curious any increased noise, or clunks from bars or springs? How about interior - does stiffer suspension result in more interior rattles or creaks? Just asking as I spend a lot of time in the car. I have both springs and bars but haven’t installed yet.

I’m about to do a 1200 mile road trip so I’ll check again once I get back but I’d be surprised if it dropped more than another 1/8”

Nope, interior sounds like the day I bought it.

Yo: your review states the rear sway can be removed from the sides which is great news since I plan on doing just swaybars so that the ride stays a little more comfortable for passengers.

But you didn't state if the front comes off the same. From what I could surmise, it seems like it would be best to remove the air deflector entirely and just drop down instead of going out the side. I could be wrong, though, as I haven't actually tried anything, yet.

Let me know, thanks!

Sorry I wasn’t at the shop when they took out the front, just the rear. Also the instructions for the rear are specific to the car and say to take it out the side, the instructions for the front are generic and basically say unbolt it and out the new one in.

I think the front can also come out the side or from the bottom but I don’t know that for a fact. The shop didn’t mention anything difficult about the front.

The front looks like it drops straight drop from my memory last time I was under the car

anyone just upgraded sway bars on a 2.0? My car is on a 4yr lease but I don't think anyone would notice bars at turn in time. But if it won't do much good I don't want to waste my cash!

Alright thanks! That's what it looked like, but I don't want to go into it not knowing what to expect and end up stuck with an extra couple hours of work when I need the car the next morning :P

@DaJackson, I appreciate your share about how to upgrade the Stinger suspension performance.

I am truly disappointed about the stock suspension performance in curves and evasive maneuvers, that bad feeling you are not in control. Today, I passed over a bad designed speed bump and that suspension's "float" behavior, makes me hit the underneath plastic cover and the right exhaust middle tube causing a dent on it......:mad::mad:

I'm in the process to buy a Eibach pro kit for my GT2 RWD.

Great thanks for a great review! My springs and sways should be on within a week. Can't wait to feel the difference!

Do the sway bars alter the oversteer/understeer characteristics of the car?

Also do you have spacers?

My concern is bottoming out on speed bumps or big declines and a stiffer ride. Thoughts?

I’ve not pushed the car to the limit but it feels pretty neutral through hard cornering but the rear will “rotate” (but not lose traction) in hard corners with some throttle input.

Nope stock wheels/tires.

We have quite a few uneven driveway entrances where I live and I haven’t bottomed out or scraped either bumper. I have been driving lowered cars (springs or coils) for the last 12 years so I’m used to playing the angles game when approaching an incline/decline.

Also, the Stinger has quite a bit of clearance stock and the springs only drop an inch. There are plenty of cars that are much lower stock like a corvette.
