you guys agree? my G35 AC was ice. thoughts?

I haven't had any problems with mine.

Not sure on actual temps but so far mine seems pretty solid. Even with the window cracked it maintains it nice and cool when it has hit 90+ outside.

Im in Phoenix where temps have already hit 105+ and AC seems to work pretty well. Takes a bit for the seats to blow cold since they are just recirc the ambient air. Other than that, no complaints. I just purchased a "taxi style" wood bead seat mat to see if that helps improve the efficiency of the seat blowers on the really hot days!

I just have mine set on 73 and leave it there, does a fine job keeping it there.

works as well as my Q50 and my Honda Accord. No problems in OKC.

I used the AC the other day, it blowed cold, perhaps not ice though.

i did notice if auto stop it kills the AC but keeps the air blowing. i think the frozen air from the infiniti changed the reference.

Have the dealer check it out. Normally the air at the front vents should be around 40-45°F. That also depends on whether you are recirculating the inside cabin air or sucking hot air in from outside ambient temperature.

Mine works fine but I know what you’re talking about. I had a g37 sedan and that thing always blew ice, it was a 7 yr old too

Maybe I'm just a moron and I will accept that.......Yesterday I realized that the ambient temps were 105°F the far left air vent and the left round air vent were blowing warm air but the central and right round air vents were blowing cold air, I have to set the A/C temp selector to SYNC in order to flow cold air from all the vents.....problem solved.......and then, I hated the panoramic sunroof, all closed and even so, it was radiating heat into the cabin. I must find how to install some thermal insulation in that place between the cover and the sunroof tempered glass.......

Did you check if the aft seat blowers are at full cold?.

Hot transmission tunnel

Stinger cabin temperature

Yes. Turn the REAR temperature down - it is completely independent of the front cabin settings

The rear heat uses its own heater core which is why there are hot water (coolant) lines running down the tunnel.
They're obviously using a control valve that opens when REAR heat is set to high enough setting.

From owners manual:

• Rear seat
Turn the rear seat temperature control knob to adjust temperature.

The front and rear seat temperature is adjusted individually

No problems with my GT, keeps cabin area nice and cool.

My BMW had a button that maxed out the a/c. So, when you first got in, you could push the button and the a/c would "push" the hot air out. On the Stinger, I just max out the a/c manually when I first get in out a hot day (we have had a couple so far here in upstate NY). Then the climate control seems to work fine.

Have you considered moving out of the Mojave desert?

Why not taking it to the local dealership and ask them to check the liquid in it.

When you don't have it in sync, then each side of the cabin is controlled seperately. When the wife is in the car, it's not unusual for my side to be blowing cold air and hers warm air. She likes it about 6 degrees warmer than I do. I'm surprised sometimes that we don't have a storm front brewing in the middle of the car sometimes. :)

Agree, mine is not cold either . It was low 70s and a little warm from the sun and AC wasnt doing much . Haven't looked into it yet.

Have you considered moving out of the Mojave desert?

Yes, but I would like to move out to Playa del Carmen, I own a membership at Sunset Fishermen Beach Resort......from the semidesert heat to paradise beach heat. But, my doctor's office and hospital patients and wife's nurse job in a hospital prevent us to move out for now.
My former 2016 Nissan Maxima SR was choosen because it was the sport version without the needless soonroof in this region were I live.
