Som Ting Wong! LolThere was talk in the forums that Stinger customers from the USA were getting a free set of Harman Kardon headphones as a thank you (promotional letter below). I emailed Kia New Zealand to ask...what about us, and here was their reply.

I tell you In Oz they totally stuffed the marketing and promotional campaign. Only now am I seeing regular tv ads. Dealers can’t meet supply for GT and they don’t know much about the car either. If you are a serious buyer you have done your research and know more than the dealers. My dealer knew this and on delivery day actually said he was not going to go through all the features as he knew I was an expert on the car. That’s not his decision to make I felt and he should have still gone through it. My guess is he knew nothing. I spent $65k and was treated worse than when I bought a $27000 dollar car. Had to ask for flowers and and wine which is normally a given when you buy a new car.

Totally agree, within the same month of purchasing the Stinger at full price, I purchased my wife a new Cerato Sport Hatch, discounted to $22.5k they then threw in window tint, floor mats & sports pedals, then when I told them the change over was too high they took another $1k off, got the car for $16k drive away + trade on 2009 Kia Koup. Have they sent them all out then? I ordered my Stinger in late Dec 2017, and took delivery on Jan 7th, 2018 and I too, have not received them. I am pretty sure I am one of the first 1K buyers in the US (not positive though).Those who didn't get the headphone, I feel your pain.
No, not at all. Took her in for the Hatch Rattle fix. Personally I rather love the guys at my dealer's service shop, and have always been happy with them.Luminary, funny you mention the bump in the road card. Did you do a dealer rater write up or have any problems with your dealer?
Ok, we all know Kia Australia will not be sending out a gift, i only received an email back in March.

I'm one of the first 1000 (since I got mine last year), and I'm pretty sure you are, too. I've gotten neither my headphones nor my limited edition book. But they can't possibly have sent out all the headphones yet, can they? Aren't they sending them to the first 15,000 buyers? There aren't that many Stingers sold yet.Have they sent them all out then?
