I went ahead and used carbon fiber vinyl 3m wrap on it and put it on! Looks incredible can't wait to vinyl wrap the mirrors and other chrome pieces, only thing is that I'm concerned with how I can go about taking off the mirror caps and front dark chrome pieces to wrap them. If anyone has any idea how to take those parts off please let me know! Here's some pictures of how the spoiler came out, will post more in the morning.20180330_202038.webp Inked20180330_203231_LI.webp

That looks great. How hard was it to wrap it yourself? I think that spoiler will be my next add on.

Incredible! Great idea. Damn you! Now I want one... ha

Great job and look. I’ll be doing mine whenever it arrives with the 3M anthracite gray CF wrap as well as the front vents, grill surrounds, side vents and maybe the inside center console. Maybe you said but which site did you buy this from? Thx

Question: did you do the wrap before or after installing the spoiler?

Asking cuz I would assume using a heatgun to stretch and place the wrap would interfere with the 3m holding the spoiler on....?

I did it before, but in hindsight, what I should've done is put it on the car, then applied the vinyl wrap to the top, once done with that mid application, take off the spoiler and wrap the inside. Reason being, unless you have clamps or somewhere to hold the spoiler steady, it's super hard to apply the vinyl wrap with the spoiler sliding everywhere lmfao. I did it on the floor so I had to have a secondary person hold the spoiler stationary which got a little rough.

Can you take photos from the side of the car and the rear but from distance? Wondering how it looks from the distance. From the close up rear end it looks very controversial imho but not bad from the side.

Just received mine yesterday... gonna get to work on it later today, at least putting in on the car, and getting the wrap done later this week.....

where on the underside did you place the 3m tape.... I wanna make sure I leave enough space to tuck the wrap

The carbon looks great on the Yellow, great job!

So don't worry about the 3m too much, wrap it onto the inside till you have like maybe half an inch, you could always cut the wrap on the inside with a xacto knife, I just wrapped it then on the inside I used the xacto. I'll say this again though, make sure you have it stationary it will be a much easier job and make sure you don't apply too much heat or stretch it to much, it can rip.
