Remove radiator cover assembly

Long story short, I had a booboo and bought a new painted bumper skin. I've removed everything from the old bumper, except the upper grill and the radiator cover. If anyone needs to know what part it is, here's the part number (sorry, I can't post a link to the part):

kia-cover-assy-radiator~86360j5000

I can't for the life of me figure out how they attached it to the bumper though. It looks like there's 6 rivets holding it in, but the way the cover mounts, its under the lip of the bumper which is then covered by the cover itself, and I cant figure out how they got the rivets in, or if they just put the rivets in and then pushed the clips onto the rivets to hold it.

Anyone have any advice how to remove it? I can go buy a cover from my local colision center, but even if I do that, I'm not sure how I would go about mounting the cover again.
