• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Hi I have a 2022 gt elite AWD 3.3 in canada
Currently at 67,000km got at 25,000km

So far I’ve done oil changes every 6-7k km

Brake fluid replaced once

Was told to wait for rear diff fluid/ transmission fluid. Whenever I ask dealer for a quote or what the process is they can never give me a clear answer. Does anyone know when to replace tran fluid (does it need to be just a simple drain and fill/any other part/fluid needed) for diff fluid same thing?

Was also told I am overdue for my carbon induction service and need to replace my spark plugs. Any advice on these?

Thanks!!!!!!!
Ral

Don't do plugs until you have an issue with misfiring or loss of power/acceleration. The dealer will of course disagree. It isn't a warranty issue because bad plugs won't hurt an engine, just make it run like crap, and you'll get new plugs then and there, problem solved. The dealer/KIA says change them every 42K miles. That is overkill. A guy on here was bragging his original plugs had taken him over 200K miles. But possibly that is overkill the other way. Ha hah.

Just out of curiosity why did they say to wait for the diff fluid/trans fluid service? I just took mine in for an oil change and just hit 60k and it was suggested that I get the service done ASAP.

I have provided you the link to the official Kia Dealer Service page in Australia.

Brake fluid should have been changed three times by now.

It shows exactly when they change out brake fluid (every 20,000kms) ie every second service or two years,

Spark Plugs are changed at 70,000kms

There is no change to diff/transmission at or under 80,000 kms

Select service cost for all models or scroll down and select Stinger, Year and work your way through to the servicing page
