It all begins with a simple service recall. Smiles around the dealership…
“Have a great day Mr. Omen”

Gets in car, *Slosh slosh.
Starts driving car, *car pulling right.
Gets home, 360 inspection, *one drl led not working, *coolant below minimum line.

*autotrader link clicked.

All stories aside, has anyone been in a bad rut with their stinger post turbo recall? I want to put most of the blame on Ricart Kia, can’t even get in communication with them without just walking in. I’m under warranty so drl should be covered but the sloshing noise is killin me. The stealership has done multiple attempts at fixing it and it’s still there. Took it to a local shop, they couldn’t even figure out the issue. I’ve been on these forums religiously reading about this issue, coolant needs topped up. TO NO AVAIL IT STILL SOUNDS LIKE I GOT THE WATER POWERED CAR.

Really don’t want to go back to Ricart but after talking to a kia care center rep it sounds like if it’s an issue created by a particular dealership, a different dealership wouldn’t touch the issue.

Is there hope?

I tell myself i don’t need her, “there’s others just like her”… but nothing is quite like her.

the coolant does take a while to settle down. you can buy a burp bleeder and DIY if your dealer just won't get the message. DRL led is probably just a connector they forgot to connect- take a peek behind the headlight.

yo thanks for the help. the noise is near gone, i can lightly hear something i’m not used to, just will give that a lil time. my coolant is way below low line, can i just top it off myself while cold?

Absolutely. Get it between the lines and go for a good drive to get it all the way warmed up and pumping and check the fluid level again. Should be good to go.
