I just had the recall done by Huffines Kia in McKinney, Texas. The process was truly seamless. I had the car in by 7AM this morning and it was done by noon. The parts were in stock when I made the appointment and they also did an oil change and the usual inspection. Finally the car was washed and vacuumed when they delivered it to me. After all the horror stories I have read on this forum about other dealers this was truly a breath of fresh air.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
^^^Great to hear of competent dealer experiences. They greatly outnumber the horror stories, or else we would hear more of them. People usually don't go online to talk about good stuff, only the negative and bad stuff.

And, it sounds like enough of these recall repairs have been done to speed up the process, judging by your experience.

Like they say, "Your Mileage May Vary". The thing is, and this what drives me crazy about Hyundai/Kia is that they just

don't give a shit about their customers at the dealership level sometimes. Glad your dealership took care of you. Had the

same service done in about 4 hours and I was shocked. Months later no issues. I honestly feel bad that people dished out money for

these cars and just get treated like garbage when the faulty parts need to be replaced because the factory/management discovered a

problem with the design and you have to fight a dealership TO DO A RECALL!
