Hello everyone,

Has anyone else had issues with contacting IMR America? I ordered secondary downpipes for my 2018 Genesis G80 3.3T about 2 months ago as the website stated there is a 6-8 week lead time which is about to pass. I have sent multiple emails with no response, called there customer service number with no one answering. I cannot even leave a voicemail since the inbox is not setup. I just want to know if I got scammed or not. I understand they are busy, but to not even reply to your consumers is pretty outrageous. Anyone else have a similar experience?

No updates at all. At this point I’m going to call my bank and dispute the charges. The customer service is a joke.

I received my g70 down pipes but I just spent 1400 with them. Front mount intercooler and dual pass thru oil cooler. Order on October 24 and it was supposed to ship the week after I ordered. Almost 2 months later I cannot get ahold of anyone I called 9 times 6 emails 9 texts and 2 Facebook messages I even messaged on their Facebook page and nothing! I'm calling Capital One to dispute the charge then ordering from Burger motor sports

Or you could order from us and save 10% off everything using promo code: KDMFAM ;)

On the one hand, I sympathize with these small/midsize businesses, competing with overseas suppliers and operating on thin margins. Easy to have an order or conversation get lost in the shuffle, so I'd usually say give them an extra benefit of the doubt email & call, unless you want the whole world owned by Amazon.

But on the other hand, if you let half a dozen emails & calls go unanswered and months go by, you're just asking to lose business to someone who'll put forth the effort. I see their secondary downpipes now show a 2-3 week lead time, which might be true for most orders, but who wants to risk it turning into 2-3 months or worse?

The 5% "subscribe and save" discount is also funny. I assume it's baked into their sales software, but I can't think of any car part you'd want on a recurring basis. Crankshaft thrust bearings on monthly delivery for your Eclipse?

Yeah I got the down pipes with a 3 week lead time. Took 3 months. I have called email texted and messaged about 2 dozen times after being told it would ship a week after I ordered. I agree I like small businesses but if you Google imr customer service you will see how bad it is

I appreciate it man! I've been working with the KDM community for 14 years now. Mainly with the genesis coupe guys but yes customer service always comes first. I get that sometimes parts take a lot longer to produce and ship out and having to explain these situations over and over again (especially during covid) is a pain but I rather tell a customer that there's no eta at the moment and potentially lose a sale than completely ignore communication. I've found that a lot of customers are patient with these items and yes you may get a customer who wants a refund which is understandable but losing a sale is a lot better than losing a customer.

Laughing because my bro owned a Talon TSi. Crankwalk. He might have needed that.
