3.3TT Another Front Brake/Rotor Problem... Lost For Words

I'm not sure, haven't had one die yet, that's why I was asking. Makes much more sense to let the offender drop off vs. nuking all four.
Naturally, logically, usefully, absolutely. But KIA did not install that kind of functionality. I've replaced aftermarket sensors a couple or three times - iirc one was new and crapped out on me and got replaced under warranty. So far, all eight OEM TMPS sensors are still sailing along, at least as far as I know. We have OEM on the Premium, five years old. But my OEM sensors for the GT1 are sitting on the shed shelves until winter comes. They are well over 6.5 years old, so probably when I put the wheels back on at least one of them could be kaput.

So you can't flip to the tire pressure display screen and see which is missing, one bad TPMS makes you lose all four? Or does your Stinger not have the real-time psi for each corner?

I know on my 2018, I do have live pressures per corner, however, when any one sensor fails due to a dead battery, no sensor is displayed on the dash.

In all cases, it's either all four pressures, or no pressures. Very stupid if you ask me.

However, using an OBD2 reader, you can see each pressure at each corner individually, thereby determining which one has failed.

I think I have a screenshot of that, let me find it

EDIT, screenshot added if all 4 pressures and temperatures. I can't find the screenshot of only 3 pressures, but it definitely can be acquired through OBDII.

What app are you using for that OBDII? And what OBD plug-in are you using? thanks for any help there. I have a Vgate 4.0 bluetooth and a VLinker MC+ plug-in readers fwiw.

This post has those details.

Does your TPMS keep working when one of the sensors goes dead? Mine does not. It's stupid. Why does KIA flatline the entire system when a sensor quits sending? You can tell which sensor is bad by using a scan tool at the wheel and tire shop.
Mine does not either. It is beyond retarded. Other vehicles do the sensible thing of displaying whatever TPMS sensors still function normally.

My guess is that it's yet another not-so-subtle way to coerce the owner into visiting dealer service. F* that.

Took this VID today

Each individual TPMS sensor reports through OBDII, but nothing on the dash until ALL 4 are picked up.
One dead TPMS battery or one defective TPMS sensor, and you will get NOTHING on the dashboard.

Good info. Which OBD2 app is that?
