Disable Kia Stinger Valet Mode

Hello everyone,

Recently I have purchased a Kia Stinger GT2 2023 from Copart and shipped it back to Iraq. In my luck, the valet mode has been activated by the previous owner from the Kia connect app. Is there any way to hard reset the Valet mode or disable it?

You need to contact KIA customer support for UVO, you will need to provide them with proof of ownership and they can set the remote access in your name for the UVO app. Dealerships send the info to them on your behalf most times but if you purchased from a personal sale or non KIA dealership you have to do the work yourself. That will give you access to the UVO online site and the UVO app for android and apple. Valet mode can be enabled and disabled through the app or if you know the 4 pin code setup through UVO on the infotainment screen.

Thank you so much for your detailed explanation. I purchased the car from Copart US and shipped it back to Iraq, so I have no dealership contract. What I have is a Copart invoice and import documents. In addition, I don't know the 4 digit pin code because the previous owner enabled the Valet Mode via the app. Now on the infotainment screen, it says that the valet mode has to be disabled from the app, it does not allow me to type-in any code.
