Hood Deflector?

Oh gawd no, please no! Looks like a Pep Boys special. Can’t believe they’d even make that. Just go with 3M clear bra.

No smiley face for my hood ... thankyou!

First of all let's call it what it really is it's a bug deflector . Theay only look good on pick ups and large Cars ( 18 wheelers ) . If I lived in North Dakota on the Canadian border line I would put one of those ugly things on because those damn black bugs up there are worse than super glue to get off your windshield , I came out of Saskatchewan into North Dakota around sunset made it to Minot ND must've taken me 45 minutes to get those bugs off . I Hate BUGS , I never go anywhere without my Windex and paper towels ,And with snow white pearl it's a bitch. If you go to places like San Francisco Bay area or Los Angeles nobody has bugs on their car , but that could be because they're stuck in traffic and not going anywhere . A peer if you want to drive basically bug free you drive late at night early in the morning before sunrise, or two or three hours after sunrise in the summertime when it's too damn hot for the little critters to come out. Thank God for AC and cooled seats . Oh and one other place Klamath Falls Oregon driving around the lake you hit one patch of those little green things and you come out the other side looking like green felt , but at least they're not as sticky as those black mothers up north you can basically wash them off with the hose. So remember don't leave home without the Windex and paper towels especially all of you with snow white pearl . Be safe and just think of it this way the only satisfaction you're getting is that the last thing through a bug's mind is his ass .

Does anyone have the Hood Deflector accessory for their Stinger?
US Accessory link: Hood Deflector
I think all that does is prevents stones chips on the leading edge of your bonnet. I can’t see how it diverts bugs or stones away from your windscreen. All depends on how high the stones/bugs are travelling. As for air flow, I doubt a cheap after market product could alter results of extensive wind tunnel testing conducted on Stingers prior to their development. And they are ugly too. Sorry.

I do not like it. Get the clear bra. Mine cost $750. Full grill, full hood (no lines), headlights and mirrors. I will go back to get the front fenders done later.

I was trying to find the post, but where did you say you got yours done? I live in Gilbert and got a huge gouge this morning on my hood. Paid too much for this car to let it get beat up on these roads. Going to get the paint fixed and wrap it.

IMG_3172.webp I had a cracked windshield about a month ago. $1300 replacement. I paid $150 and insurance ate the rest. I bought mine from Amazon for a little over $100 and installed it and I think it looks pretty good. I go on a lot of trips and I'm always worried about another rock chip. I've had it on for about 1000 miles and hardly any bugs have hit my windshield and luckily no rocks. I can't verify it's working but I'm leaving it in place.
