I need someone with the pre-facelift NA model to check the code of the large cover and see if it's the same as @LordKOTL's NA facelift code or as my EU pre-facelift code.
Or maybe share their VIN number so I can check what part it gives me on kiapartsnow.

This will help me understand if it's a regional thing or pre-post facelift thing.

I’ve been meaning to get a dashcam and this looks great! I’m tall and don’t want any loss of view due to a dashcam and this seems to be the perfect solution!

Sadly, it seems that the facelift mirror cover is sufficiently different that it will not fit the pre-facelift version.
I will reach out to the company in China to see what they decide. There need be two different versions of the dash cam, pre and post facelift.
Will see and write back!

Just found this.. Do you still need pre-facelift (19 GT1) part numbers / pictures?

I've had a windshield replacement, and ever since, my cover just won't stay in place - I have it sitting in my garage somewhere.. Do I need the cover, or does this replace the cover? I think it's because the tabs on my cover got bent / broken, but I'm not sure..

Hi! Sure, any photo is helpful at this point. The camera will com with the cover. You just replace the old one.

The good news is they will put the pre-facelift camera into production. I am waiting on news of when it will become available.

For the post-facelift, I need to first send them a OEM cover in China and then they can make the mould. I am waiting on the dealer. It will take some time.

I will receive the first one in the coming days and will do a full video with it and post it here.

Is there any video of the installation of one of the units with a rear camera available?

Specifically for the Stinger, I don't think so.

My understanding is you will plug the rear camera into the front one, and then you have to get the wire all the way to the back. So it should be the same as any other rear cam install for the Stinger. You just wire it from the mirror instead of the fuse box.

I'm not getting a rear cam so I won't be able to do a video with that.

If I don't already have front and rear cams set up on all my cars, I would definitely be interested in this. Do you know if it has GPS built-in? I don't really need location info logged with the video, but I like that GPS-enabled dashcams have their time/date synched, without needing to set/correct the time periodically.

I have front and rear dash. Cam was totally beneficial to a accident recently Proved the other person liable.
Also has parking mode. Fortunately I haven't needed to review that

I don't think it has GPS but it does sync its internal clock to your phone every time you enter the app.
