E85 compatability

Anyone know if the 3.3 engine itself is compatible with E85 once tuning is more prominent for this engine? Just curious as My 2015 Mustang GT could run E85 with just a tune no issues but my 2015 For Edge sport with the 2.7 ecoboost supposedly could not because of what i understood as reasons beyond just the fuel system. I am surrounded by E85 and the company I work for also makes it so that would be a added little bonus if it was compatible.

The manual states that E85 is not compatible, may result in poor performance, and/or damage to the vehicle's engine and fuel systems.

Might be able to push a blend with proper tuning "E30" couple gallons of E85 mixed with a tank of 93.

No experience with using it myself, but aside than the performance potential with tuning I'd be concerned about damage to stock fuel system components which weren't designed for that much ethanol (vs. a FlexFuel vehicle).

You're right. I used to run some real nasty stuff in my Audi a couple years ago, I never had a fuel line issue that I knew of. I'm under the impression that it takes some time for the lines to wear out. Most people just blend and tune for track days keeping the wear on the low. Only speaking of what I've seen and heard at the track.
