Check TPMS Warning Light But all Tire Pressures are Normal

So I was enjoying the first day of decent weather today in Michigan just cruising around and my tpms light started flashing and displayed the below warning on the dash. When I got home I checked all the pressured and everything seems fine, all at 38-40 psi. I checked them again a few hours later and the pressures haven't changed. Not sure what's going on but it popped up out of no where. No big potholes or bumps that I can remember and I just had new tires put on two months ago and they are in great shape. Anyone able to help em out with what this could mean and the best course of action to resolve it?

1 or more of your TPMS sensors have a dead battery.

What year is your car?
How old are your TPMS sensors?

if yours is 2018, or 2019 - it's very probable the service life of any 1 of your TPMS sensors has expired.

It is recommended to replace all 4 at the same time, and not only the currently dead one(s) - otherwise this issue will resurface shortly.

Thank you for the help! I took it to the tire shop that installed the tires and they tested the TPMS sensors. The Front left one was completely dead so I went ahead and had them replace all four. Unfortunately after a day of driving the TPMS warning light still flashes and hasn't cut off yet. I've checked under the HVAC panel beneath the glove compartment where the TPMS connectors are and everything looks good there, all connectors are securely seated. So now I get to go to my local KIA dealership and have them look at the system and likely deny me warranty work because a local tire shop did the sensors. Don't you love owning these cars?

I do, it's love-hate-love, though, when electrics get into the mix. I've had this exact issue a couple of times. kia dealership said, 'you will have to come in with the oem wheels and tpms, because we will not diagnose aftermarket tpms.' I pushed every connector under the glovebox that I could see. it worked the first time. the last time, last summer, I was just living without a reliable tpms system, it would come and go every few days. then it came online and has stayed that way ever since. of course, Ima waiting for it to drop again. it's electrics, after all, the home of gremlins.

You need to clear the fault code before the system will scan again.

You can do this yourself with any half decent OBDII reader, I use a $5 bluetooth one from ali express with an app called "car scanner"

When the light is on the dash saying "check system", it's not looking for new wheel sensors.
Clear the code - then it will search for the new sensors.

Aftermarket TPMS sensors are more trouble than they are worth. Some of them require programming to be recognized. I'm not too fond of dealing with dealer service dept. (of any make) but in this case, you Kia dealer has every right not to want to mess with non-OEM parts.

OEM sensors can be gotten for less than $100 for set of 4 and require no programming or resetting OBD2 fault codes. I've bought 3 sets off ebay shipped directly from Korea. The sensors on my '19 Stinger OEM wheels are showing TPMS fault. I'm not driving on them right now but my car is still under warranty. I really don't feel like having to swap those wheels back on and making an appt with the dealer and wasting at least a few days just to get the TPMS sensors changed out for free. For less than $100, I'm probably gonna just buy the OEM sensors again and replace them myself.
