If prices are dropping, why is this a good reason to sell? Depreciation is generally less each year, the longer you keep your car. Keep your Stinger for as long as you are enjoying it. If it is paid off, put a car payment into a savings account so when you really need to replace it, you will hopefully have enough to pay cash for your replacement.
Over 5 years of owning this car I still enjoy it everyday, it has all the tech that I need & all the mods I have added make it the complete package. There is nothing comparable in the market ATM that even comes close, so for now it’s stays with me for the long term.
I've owned my car for 3 years now. I've only put 17k on it. I doubt I'll even be close to 100k by the time 10 years rolls around. Only bad thing is that since the car is being discontinued this year it may be hard to find certain parts down the road. Obviously the g70 shares engine, transmission, suspension but exterior and interior parts are Stinger specific. Guess we'll see in 5 years or so.

Or eBay? Bought my 8" screen and nav head unit from a wrecked Stinger off eBay. Car was being parted out. I probably shoulda upgraded to the 7" dash display from that car as well that was for sale on eBay.
It’s tempting thinking about selling but I have zero plans to do sell in the future. I have less than 10K miles on the car and still working on customizing it to my liking. Have too much money invested in the car too lol, so I plan on driving this bad boy for the foreseeable future. Only way I’d sell the car is if I got a ridiculous offer I couldn’t refuse, which from the looks of it, won’t be coming given the dropping prices and resell. It’s ganna be my builder car, would love to just store it in the garage but I enjoy it too much as my daily commuter and especially now that the weather is warming up again. I don’t even drive the car fast, I just hit the gas from time to time to know the power is still there which gives me my fix, but otherwise is my DD.
I always treat any vehicle I own like I'm keeping it long term, whether I actually do or not. I don't ever buy a car planning on selling it short, but sometimes situations present themselves that make trading one in early the better choice. I make sure I catch good deals on buying cars, such that I'm not out a lot of money either way.
So far, our Stinger looks like a keeper, but long term... who knows?
You are claiming horsepower levels beyond the established upgrades 95% of people have, beyond what stock turbos and fuel system support, without having modified your car.
Surely you can see how that would go over poorly on a forum full of people with actual experience modifying their cars, right? It's like telling a bunch of weightlifters you could bench 400 lbs before you've stepped foot in a gym.
Yeah we have the same problem here on XR6 Turbo Forums...
I will add one more post and then i am done with this place ,the thread title was is anyone keeping their Stinger long term and i said YES WITH 600RWHP NOT DRIVING IN THE RAIN AND APPROX 3000KMS A YEAR...
Spin that how you wish i dont battle keyboards with kids that have never owned a V8 and think spooly bois are the be all and end all...

Phuck it, have a video and do your own research...

No one is claiming it can't be done. I think they're just finding it odd that you just appear out of thin air saying you're hitting 600hp and won't say how.
It doesn't make things any better that your avatar on here is a stolen image from the SSR Intake promos when they used to sell that intake.
Ima keeping one stinger and selling the other one, because I didn't want to be without a stinger ride while my original was out of commission, and my wife isn't interested in being a two-stinger family she's frugal that way and a disappointment, but oh well it is what it is.
