I’ve been using Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. It’s been pretty good. I just bought Turtle Wax Graphine Paste Wax. Can’t wait to try this.
This is why I switched over to the graphene coating. Works wonders on glass and trim as well. Also using griots 3 in 1 ceramic spray. Easy on easy off and if you notice anything cloudy the next day you can reapply overtop it to fix it up.
"Scott HD" on youtube tested a bunch on the hood of a car left out in the elements for a year and griot's seems to outlast every test. Edit; link
The only thing I don't like about it is its not great on glass. They say it should work like rainx but it doesnt and can leave a haze or dots. Ive never noticed cloudy dots on the clear coat.
Nice choice, kind of like old faithful in the YouTube detailing community. Was the turtle wax graphene paste not up to snuff? I used to be all about paste waxes, now I haven’t used one in almost a decade.I changed to Turtle Wax Seal and Shine. Much better compare to the paste I was using.
Sorry to ask a stupid question, just trying to understand your process. So you spray on this wax while the car is still wet from washing and then use a microfiber towel to mix-in/dry the car or you let both just dry by themselves?
true that is. but when the hit is hard enough to drive black grit into the ppf there is not a blessed thing you can do but clean it as far as possible and then dab touch up paint into the darkened scratch so that the damage no longer attracts your eye. you know it's there but nobody else will see it unless they go over the car up really close, barring the perfect light angle of course, but we live with imperfection in this venue. For chips you need ppf.
…and use a clay bar before applying any sealants.I personally love Bead Maker by P&S. Works fantastically. Just always remember to do a proper handwash before using sealants.

Absolutely if this step hasnt been done before. To clarify, im speaking from a perspective of already having paint correction and ceramic coating done. Bead Maker just upkeeps the ceramic coating after completing a hand wash for maintenance.…and use a clay bar before applying any sealants.

Agree 100%. I've done 2 corrections to mine and finished each with Cquartz, the UK version on one of them. A second application, as worn out as you may be, makes a big differnce. The Carpro Reload spray really helps maintain the ceramic and lengthen the life of the coating. P&S beadmaker after drying and Reload every 4th wash is great.Absolutely if this step hasnt been done before.
