my feeling is that rain doesn't collect enough on that narrow rear window view to warrant a wiper. last time I turned on the defroster it evaporated the melt in a very short time. maybe having it on in the rain would dry off the water quickly. yes I agree the gorgeous fastback lines would be distracted by a wiper.
Clean your rear glass on the outside with 0000 grade steel wool, then with a good window cleaner. Then, polish it with Rain-X once or twice and the water will just roll off the glass.

i just use a Graphene/Ceramic spray wax on the entire car, and water just runs right off, and you don't need the Rain-X - it takes care of the glass, too.
this seems like an appropriate place to voice my hate even though it isn't exactly stinger focused.
I have been driving stingers almost from the beginning that they were available, and never once until this afternoon have I come close to this, the keys ring got fumbled down between the seat and driveshaft tunnel. this is only possible lately because the fob is in a faraday bag in my pocket instead of bulking out the keys ring, but my other keys, for instance the housekey, are still on the keys ring. but because Ima minimalist there are only six keys, making this a situation where a virtue becomes a negative.
and this is nearly impossible because I have a 'catcher' tray that runs along the top of that gap. I could try to do this a thousand times and probably never manage it, but of course, fumble fingers can accomplish anything. my wife wasn't in the car thank goodness so only the Good Lord heard my cussing which was long and effective. though they were clear to the bottom and wedged in there I did finally manage to tease the keys out with my fingertips instead of having to find a long probe or hook thingy.
they came off the carabiner on my belt, by design, and as I reached across with my left hand to grab 'stuff' to take out of the car they slipped from my fingers and went straight down the tiny bit of slot not covered by the catcher tray.
it wouldn't have made any difference, a fumble is a fumble, when it's going to happen it happens. usually I only remove my keys from the carabiner at the front door, this time I got them ready (or tried to) in the car, so, a break with usual procedure. had I pulled them from a pocket they might have ended up in the back seat or hatch cover somewhere.
I can’t understand why there’s no seat release from inside the hatch area. It’s dumb to have to open the back doors and fold the seats. Defeats the purpose of the convenient auto open hatch when loading longer or larger items.
yup, i keep a towel in the hatch to lay down on the back seat over the seatbelt buckles ... learned the hard way that they leave dents in the leather with the seats folded down. i managed to get the dents to go away, but don't want to deal with that again ...
So last week before I got COVID (yuck). I went to get in the car after it's 2nd remote start cycle. This was the actual temp that morning. It's MN, it can get even colder.
Why on earth can the rear defrost, nor the heated seats turn on when the remote start is turned on. Who thought that was a good idea? Would be nice to get into the car with the seats warm. What is the point otherwise?
Yeah, no UVO services like the Canadians have had for years. My buddy bought a 2020 Panthera GT2 and it has UVO with 4G built in. He's able to remote start and do everything. Sucks they didn't offer it on the USDM cars.
OK I'm replacing my rotors and pads on my 2020 GT2 AWD because i can't deal with Kia anymore on this recurring problem.
Tell me which ones to get and where.
Thank you.
