2018-2021 stinger entertainment screen update

For anybody that has the grey nav update to gen5 looks SOOO much better and it fixed my apple carplay issues! Something happened to my navigation but im pretty sure its cause i used a usb to update instead of the microsd and i unplugged the usb!

havent messed with it since as i dont use navigation outside of carplay and google maps so it dosent really bug me! i think i just need to put it on the microsd. the update only took like 30 mins. deff worth the update though as i had weird issues with carplay glitching out alot and it went away with the update.

I have install the latest update and now I can’t find the premium sound setting between on-stage, audience and reference when listening through CarPlay, the setting are there for radio or Sirius but when on CarPlay I haven’t been able to find them…not sure if it’s hidden somewhere or it’s just no longer an option ?

What was your carplay issue? Is it the screen holding touches? I have this issue where if I click buttons on carplay it holds the touch and activates siri or if I'm like fast forwarding or rewinding a podcast it'll keep holding it forward or back.

Did you ever get this fixed? I’ve been dealing with this exact same issue on my ‘19 GT2 for over a year. The dealer replaced the radio (not the screen), did some updates, and replaced the cable connecting the screen to the radio but nothing has worked.

Initially they told me they had replaced the screen as well but I just found out they hadn’t so I’m trying to get that replaced now.

Any updates on this one? I'm having issues with ghost touches on my screen as well.
