Delivery time for a new Stinger

No deposit required and no markups. I was just notified that my order for a 2022 stinger will not be built before they turn into the 2023 models.

I was told by my dealer Friday that Kia factories are in the process of changing over to build 2023 models right now. Still thinks the timeline he gave me of 4 to 6 months in February is still accurate. But can’t guarantee. So I won’t be holding my breath. Most frustrated I’ve ever been trying to buy a car. It sucks.

I've been waiting since October and my dealer said the same thing. They canceled all 2022 orders so I'll have to wait another 3-4 months.

Hey guys, I can confirm that the 2023 is actually already being made, and the first shipment has actually already hit the US port already. My salesman actually sent me my window sticker on Tuesday for my 2023 GT2 AWD. I was just like you and had my order put in the system back in October for a 2022, so to see that somehow my build spec made it on the first shipment of 2023's doesn't really make sense, but I'll take it.

Ordered a 2022 in March, California Red GT elite (Canadian market) with suede interior.

Still waiting after 7+ months. It will be a 2023 model now and I've been told I'm 3rd in Canada waiting for Red.

Will be trading in my 2019 Genesis G70 when it arrives so it's not all bad.

Canadian market calls it "California Red". Also here the trim levels are GT limited and GT elite only. In Canada you can only get AWD and the 3.3L.

The 2.0L was available up to 2021 and the 2.5L never made it here.

I've been on this forum since 2018 and never heard the designation until now. Is it just the 2023 that got the name for High Chroma Red, or is there a new shade of red for 2023 that you are special ordering?

Also ours do not say "Stinger" it still says KIA on the back
